McHenry County Commercial and Securities Litigation Attorneys

Skilled Litigation, Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation Lawyers
in Lake in the Hills and Grayslake

At Owens & Laughlin LLC, we provide experienced legal counsel and representation for a wide range of practice areas including commercial litigation, securities litigation, workers' compensation, personal injury, and criminal defense. Our attorneys have over 40 years of combined experience, and we have an in-depth knowledge of our areas of focus and what it takes to prevail against even well-funded opponents. We are skilled litigators and strong negotiators, and we believe in taking decisive action on behalf of our clients. Whether we are serving as plaintiff’s attorneys or defending clients, we adopt an aggressive and meticulous approach that keeps our adversaries off balance and drives our cases toward successful resolutions.

Practical and Innovative Legal Solutions

The legal arena is highly complex, and there are typically numerous ways to pursue a case. For example, when there are contract disputes between two parties, litigation is an option, but it may not always be the best approach. There are times when some type of alternative dispute resolution (such as mediation or arbitration) is more appropriate. There may be other considerations as well, such as the importance of the business relationship you have with the other party.

We examine all of the important factors so we can develop the most practical and effective resolution for each individual client we serve. We are always fully prepared to litigate your case to the highest levels of the Illinois state and federal court system. This gives our clients the leverage they need to secure a favorable resolution. At the same time, however, we put our extensive experience to work to find innovative alternatives to litigation (when necessary) that will still result in a positive outcome.

The Personalized Representation Our Clients Deserve

Our attorneys share a commitment to deliver uniquely tailored representation to each client. Those we represent are more than just clients; they are our friends and neighbors. As such, we take a personal interest in their success, and we treat each case as if the client is a member of our own family. We stay in close contact with our clients throughout the case and provide regular updates, so you are always kept in the loop. Even after the case is over, we continue to touch base and check in with you.

For a personalized consultation with one of our skilled attorneys, contact our office today at 847-854-8700 (Lake in the Hills) or 847-752-8537 (Grayslake). We serve clients in the northern Chicago suburbs and throughout the state of Illinois, including Lake County, McHenry County, Cook County, DuPage County, Will County, Kane County, and Rockford County.
